About Bo
This blog was inspired by my little four-legged best friend, Bo. He is a spunky, fun-loving cuddle bug who is always up for going on a new adventure! Bo is a 5-year-old, 15 lb. Terrier/Pomeranian mix (that is our best guess) with a big heart.
I found Bo through Petfinder.com and adopted him from Friends of Orange County Homeless Pets (FOCHP) when he was 1 1/2 years old.
It was love at first sight! I brought him home on February 23, 2008, and every day since has been filled with joy and laughs. It was the best decision I have ever made.
As a newcomer to Los Angeles, I have been making a point to explore and enjoy the city for all it has to offer. And the best way to do that is to have Bo tagging along by my side! :)
About Erika
Ok, so my bio is no where near as cute and adorable as Bo's but I figure you may want to know a little about the person who types up all of his adventures. I am 24 years old and currently live in Burbank, CA. I grew up in upstate NY and moved to Los Angeles in 2009 after graduating college to work in the post-production industry. I am a lady of many interests but I will try and narrow it down for you... dogs (obviously.), television, DIY home projects, wine, music, playing guitar, being outdoors, reading, and most of all hanging with my men, Walker and Bo.
As I said above, learning all about this city with Bo at my side has been an incredible way of getting acclimated in a new city and meeting great people. I started blogging when I discovered that there is a real need to have a one-stop-shop kind of site for all things dog-friendly in LA. Sure, anyone can make a list of a bunch of "dog-friendly" places, but I wanted to share my adventures (and misadventures) with other LA dog owners from first-hand experience in hopes of creating a place for people to learn about all the things this community has to offer.
I welcome comments, suggestions, reviews, guest posts, concerns, and presents so feel free to contact me. Thanks!
